MyTruDate values the privacy of all people, especially the users of the services we offer through our dating application (“App”) and website (“Website”) (jointly, the MyTruDate “Platform”). This Privacy Policy represents a legally binding contract between you (“you” or our “User”) and TruDate Corporation (“MyTruDate,” “we” or “us”) governing MyTruDate’s use of all information about yourself that you provide us. This Privacy Policy will help you understand how we handle all of our Users’ personal information and general data.
This Policy applies to MyTruDate and governs any and all data collection and usage by us. By using our Platform, you expressly consent to this Privacy Policy and all data collection procedures expressed in it.
We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy at any given time. To ensure that you are up to date with the latest changes, we advise you to frequently visit this page. If we materially alter this Privacy Policy, we will let you know of such changes by posting a notice on our Website and/or contacting you at the e-mail address provided to us. Your continued use of our Platform following the posting of any updates or changes to our Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions shall mean that you agree to and accept all such changes as well.
Please note that this Policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that MyTruDate does not own or control, such as our third-party partners who have their own privacy policies. What Information Do We Collect?
You decide whether to disclose personally identifiable information to us, although if you select not to do so, we reserve the right not to register to become a subscribed user (“User” or “Member”) of the MyTruDate Platform. Rest assured that we only collect personal information that you knowingly, voluntarily and willingly provide to us by way of opting into our Platform at the time of enrollment.
The MyTruDate Platform collects various types of information, such as:
Voluntarily provided information which may include your first and last name, address, email address, telephone number, age, sex, location, photographs, profile content, preferences, communications, and any other information you choose to provide in your account, profile, application, onboarding flow, or communications with us Onboarding safety-screening information used for MyTruDate’s internal admission, trust, safety, and account-integrity purposes, including information needed to verify your identity and conduct MyTruDate’s mandatory safety-screening process. MyTruDate does not use this onboarding safety-screening process to package, sell, advertise, disclose, or make available any applicant’s or member’s identity-verification results, safety-screening results, facial-scan or biometric information, onboarding data, or membership eligibility outcome to other users or to the general public, except as required by law or legal process.
MyTruCheck search information, if you choose to use MyTruCheck, including the search terms or identifiers you submit and search-result information obtained from public records and/or third-party data providers. MyTruCheck search-result information may include, as applicable, name, age, email, phone number, address history, criminal history, bankruptcy information, business affiliation, family relatives, neighbors, and aliases. MyTruCheck is separate from MyTruDate’s onboarding safety-screening process and should not be understood as a sale or redistribution of MyTruDate members’ identity-verification results, safety-screening results, facial-scan or biometric information, onboarding data, or membership eligibility outcomes.
If you make a purchase through our Platform and/or Site, we do not process your credit/debit card information; we use a third-party payment processor to process your payment. We do not store or maintain your credit/debit card number, expiration date or security code. However, we may store details related to the type of credit/debit card used, the date of purchase and the amount of the purchase.
Information automatically collected when visiting our Platform, which may Include details of your visits to the Platform and/or Website and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs, and other communication data, including your IP address, timing, and content of what you viewed. Some parts of the Website use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect this information about your general internet usage and provide you with targeted advertising. When you use the search bar on our Site, we may collect information related to your search queries, including the terms you enter and your interactions with search results. This information may be used to improve our Site, analyze trends, and enhance your experience. We may also share search-related information with third-party service providers who assist us in processing and analyzing search queries or in delivering relevant content or advertisements. These third parties are required to handle your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our instructions. Why Do We Collect User data?

To create and administer your account, profile, membership, preferences, communications, and Platform experience.
To verify your identity and conduct MyTruDate’s internal onboarding safety-screening process for admission, trust, safety, and account-integrity purposes.
To provide MyTruCheck, if you choose to use it, including processing user-initiated searches, displaying search results from public-record or third-party sources, processing purchases, and enforcing MyTruCheck’s personal-use restrictions.
To fulfill our legitimate interest in improving our services.
To send you promotional emails containing information we think you may like when we have your consent to do so.
To customize our Platform according to your online behavior and personal preferences.
To know how to reach you to notify you of any safety alerts, data breaches, bug alerts, security breaches, safety warnings, account issues, and/or changes in MyTruDate products and services. You consent to receiving such notifications from us for these purposes.
To review, investigate, and respond to reports, complaints, suspected misconduct, fraud, unsafe conduct, impermissible MyTruCheck use, or violations of our Terms or policies.
To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, spam, security threats, unauthorized access, unlawful activity, or other misuse of the Platform.
To enforce our Terms, policies, agreements, rights, and remedies, and to protect the rights, property, safety, and security of MyTruDate, our users, our partners, and others.
In certain circumstances, we reserve the right to use our Platform, newspapers, or other public means to notify you of any such security threats in addition to our efforts to contact you via email or through your account on the Platform directly.
How Do We Use the Information We Collect?
First and foremost, we may use your information to verify your identity, and to perform your criminal background check should you choose to go through this initial screening process. Any non-personal data we may collect we only use to help us improve and/or maintain superior services to our Users.
We expressly reserve the right, from time to time, to track User usage of our Platform and follow websites that our users may frequent. This will enable us to glean what types of services and products may be the most popular to our customers or the general public, and help us improve the overall User experience.
At times, we may find it necessary to use personally identifiable information as a means to keep you informed of other possible products and/or services that may be available to you from MyTruDate. We also may find it beneficial to share Users’ non-identifiable data concerning usage of the Platform with third parties to conduct statistical analysis on User behavior. In such instance, MyTruDate reserves the right to share information about your use of the Platform, but would not share any of your personally identifiable data with such third parties.
Please be advised that MyTruDate reserves the right to include links to third-party social media companies on the Platform, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Meta, and/or other interactive programs. These may collect your IP address and require cookies to work properly. These services are governed by the privacy policies of the providers and are not within MyTruDate’s control. How Long Do We Hold User Data?
Our goal at MyTruDate is to retain as little User data as reasonably necessary. We retain personal information only for as long as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the MyTruDate Platform; provide the products or services you request; conduct MyTruDate’s internal onboarding safety-screening, identity-verification, admission, trust, safety, and account-integrity processes; administer accounts, payments, subscriptions, complaints, reports, and customer-support requests; enforce our Terms and policies; comply with legal obligations; resolve disputes; and protect the rights, safety, and security of MyTruDate, our users, our service providers, and others.
For MyTruDate’s mandatory onboarding safety-screening process for members, MyTruDate does not use retained screening information to package, sell, advertise, disclose, or make available any applicant’s or member’s identity-verification results, safety-screening results, onboarding data, or membership eligibility outcome to other users or to the general public, except as required by law, court order, subpoena, governmental investigation, or other valid legal process.
MyTruDate generally does not store a full applicant or member criminal-background report for onboarding safety-screening purposes, but may retain information regarding the screening process, pass/fail outcome, reconsideration request, complaint, safety review, or related account decision where reasonably necessary for Platform operations, safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or recordkeeping.
If you choose to use MyTruCheck, we may retain information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, audit, bill for, support, and enforce the MyTruCheck feature, including search inputs, purchase records, user acknowledgments, complaint or misuse reports, and records needed to comply with law or enforce MyTruCheck’s personal-use restrictions.
MyTruCheck search results are generated from public-record and/or third-party data sources and are separate from MyTruDate’s internal onboarding safety-screening process. MyTruCheck should not be understood as a sale, disclosure, or redistribution of MyTruDate members’ identity-verification results, onboarding safety-screening results, facial-scan or biometric information, onboarding data, or membership eligibility outcomes.
We may delete, de-identify, aggregate, or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by applicable law.
Does MyTruDate Sell or Share My Data To or With Anyone?
MyTruDate does not sell, share, rent, or lease any of its user lists, member profile information, onboarding information, identity-verification results, onboarding safety-screening results, facial-scan or biometric information, or membership eligibility outcomes to third parties.
MyTruCheck is a separate optional person-search feature that provides user-initiated search results from public-record and/or third-party data sources. MyTruCheck search results are not generated from, and should not be understood as a sale or redistribution of, MyTruDate members’ onboarding safety-screening results, identity-verification results, facial-scan or biometric information, onboarding data, or membership eligibility outcomes.
We may disclose information to service providers, vendors, payment processors, legal authorities, auditors, and other parties where necessary to provide requested services, operate and secure the Platform, comply with law, enforce our Terms, respond to complaints or misuse, or protect rights, safety, and security.
When Might MyTruDate Disclose Any of My Data?
MyTruDate will not use or disclose the information provided by you except under the following circumstances:
As necessary to provide you a product or service to which you have subscribed and/or purchased.
In the aggregate with other information, and in such a way that your identity cannot be determined.
As required by law, or in response to a subpoena or search warrant.
To external auditors, who have agreed to keep the information confidential.
To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us about our Site users is among the assets transferred.

Do We Collect Information about Children under the age of 18?
Use of the MyTruDate Platform by persons under the age of eighteen (18) is strictly prohibited and directly violates MyTruDate’s Terms and Conditions of Use. Accordingly, MyTruDate does not and will not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from minors. If we discover that such information has been inadvertently collected on any minors on our Platform, we shall promptly take the necessary steps to delete such information from our system’s database.
How Can I Unsubscribe or Opt-Out from MyTruDate Emails or Notifications?
All Users to our Platform have the option to discontinue receiving updates from us by way of email or newsletters. To discontinue or unsubscribe from receiving such updates, email us at Support@mytrudate.com under the subject line “Unsubscribe,” and include your name, username, and Order Number (located in your initial subscription email) or click on the “Unsubscribe” hyperlink in the marketing communication. If you wish to unsubscribe or opt-out from any alerts from any of our third-party partners, you must go to that partner’s specific website to unsubscribe or opt-out. MyTruDate will continue to adhere to this Policy with respect to any personal information previously collected.
What Security Measures Does MyTruDate Use To Secure My Data?
MyTruDate takes reasonable precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive or personally identifiable information on our Platform, we protect your information both online and offline. Information you provide on our Platform is encrypted and transmitted to us in a reasonably secure way.
In addition, MyTruDate uses secure socket layer, SSL for authentication and private communications to build users’ trust and confidence in the Platform’s use by providing simple and secure access and communication of personal information.
Nonetheless, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically, and the transmission of such data is therefore entirely at your own risk.
Does MyTruDate Censor Any User Content?
MyTruDate reserves the right to review and delete from any user profile any content such (Messages, Photos, Videos, Audio and Video calls) that violates our Code of Conduct or constitutes “Prohibited Content” in our Terms and Conditions of Use. This includes, but is not limited to:
Advertisements for any services or goods, whether by a member or not;
Advertisements or solicitations for sex work, prostitution, or human trafficking of any kind;
Content involving minors without prior written consent of a legal guardian or parent;
Sexually explicit content;
Content containing any type of hate speech or inciting hatred of any kind; or
Content advertising the sale or distribution of drugs or controlled substances.
Are Criminal Background Check and Identity Verification Results Confidential?
MyTruDate will not share the results of any applicant’s criminal background check or identity verification screening conducted for MyTruDate’s internal onboarding, admission, trust, safety, and account-integrity purposes unless required by state or federal law to produce such records in response to a subpoena, court order, or as part of a governmental investigation. MyTruDate will not share, sell, advertise or distribute any such information about any applicant unless required to do so bysubpoeana, court order, applicable law, or as part of a government investigation.
This confidentiality provision applies to MyTruDate’s mandatory onboarding safety-screening process for members and does not apply to MyTruCheck, which is a separate optional person-search feature using public-record and/or third-party data sources. MyTruCheck search results are not generated from, and should not be understood as a sale, sharing, or redistribution of, MyTruDate members’ onboarding, identity-verification, safety-screening, facial-scan/biometric, or membership-eligibility information.
Does MyTruDate Collect Health information?
No. MyTruDate does not collect any personal health or medical data information from any member and we encourage our members to NOT share this personal information on their MyTruDate profile. We are not responsible for any damages that may result from a member’s sharing of such information on our platform and/or Website.
